Operating from pleasant waterside offices at Fox’s Marina, Ipswich, our client own and manage a portfolio of commercial, agricultural and residential properties, mostly in the Essex and Suffolk area. They also finance residential refurbishment and new construction projects with joint venture partners, currently in Essex and Kent.

Our client is seeking a proactive person to join the company as an Property Administrator. This is ideally a full-time position working as part of a small team.

Job Duties
  • Be the first point of contact for tenants
  • Maintain appropriate records of issues actions and remedies
  • Action reactive and proactive maintenance, liaising with tenants and contractors
  • Attend appropriate properties monthly, take utilities meter readings and process data internally and to suppliers
  • Assist Booker Keeper as required
  • Process utilities, contractors and supplier invoices ready for approval
  • Input of purchase and sales invoices and other data
  • Maintain Health & Safety information for sites and properties
  • Health & Safety register control
  • Document management and general office administration
  • Run and be responsible for certain projects to assist the team
  • Support the property management function as required

  • Good people skills and eye for detail
  • Experienced with Re-leased software (property management) or similar preferred
  • Computer literate, with sound knowledge of Excel in particular
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Experience with accounts or legal documentation would be an advantage
  • Property industry experience would be an advantage
  • Own transport essential
