Our client are specialists in designing and supplying full heating solutions to both residential and commercial projects. They are actively seeking a new Internal Sales Account Manager to join their vibrant, growing business based in Woolpit.

 

Job Duties

The main aim of the Internal Sales Account Manager is to develop both existing and new business. This is a wide-ranging role responsible for identifying new business opportunities, dealing with project enquiries, and providing exceptional customer service for a diverse customer base, including tradespeople, developers, contractors, builders, installers, and end-users.

 

Duties (include but are not limited to):

This is a 360-degree sales and account management role. You won’t just be chasing cold data; you will be responsible for an established customer base while actively hunting for new opportunities. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Business Growth: Using smart tools, databases, and social media platforms to identify new leads, spark up conversations, and confidently reach out to potential new business.
  • Nurturing Relationships: Managing and growing the existing customer base, from independent tradespeople and installers to large-scale developers and builders.
  • Pipeline & Project Management: Handling incoming enquiries, reviewing plans/specifications, and putting together accurate quotations that meet your clients’ exact needs.
  • Being the Expert: Consulting with customers, answering technical queries (they’ll train you on the tech!), and maintaining a gold-standard level of customer service.

 

Benefits

£28-33k basic salary (DOE) / £35-40k realistic OTE | Permanent| Woolpit, Suffok | Mon-Fri 8-5 (1 hour lunch) | Dynamic, collaborative, vibrant team environment | 50/50 new business to account management

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years sales experience (If you’ve worked in construction, building supplies, or trade sales before, that’s a massive bonus, but not essential).
  • Communication Skills: You have a confident, warm telephone manner and can write a sharp, professional email.
  • The Mindset: You are self-motivated, target-driven, and possess the grit required to make proactive sales calls when an opportunity arises.
  • Tech-Savvy: You’re comfortable using Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook) and navigating CRM systems to keep your workflow organised.

Driving Licence required for the role: Yes
