Our client is a communications agency based near Liverpool Street who are actively seeking a Designer (Mid‑weight) to join their small, hands‑on creative team. Offering a supportive and collaborative environment, this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys brand‑led, content‑heavy design and is confident working on detailed, accuracy‑focused projects.

The purpose of this role is to design high‑quality corporate publications, long‑form reports and others communication materials, turning complex information into clear, engaging visual materials while ensuring accuracy, accessibility and brand consistency.

Job Duties
  • Designing corporate publications, annual reports and other materials that follow brand guidelines and meet high standards of accuracy.
  • Typesetting financial tables, charts and data with clarity, consistency and precision.
  • Creating layouts, infographics and supporting assets for print and digital use.
  • Working closely with the Creative Director to develop concepts and refine design approaches.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and clients to bring content and design together effectively.
  • Preparing artwork for print and digital distribution, ensuring all technical requirements are met, including accessibility guidelines.
  • Managing your own workload across multiple projects, keeping files organised and maintaining version control.
  • Contributing to internal templates, style guides and process improvements.

Applicant Specification
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong layout skills, confident typography and experience with corporate or long‑form design.
  • Solid experience typesetting financial tables and working with data‑heavy content.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign.
  • Experience working with clients in at least one of the agency’s core sectors.
  • A calm, organised approach and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and confidence explaining design decisions.
  • Understanding of print production and digital publishing.
  • Awareness of accessibility standards and how they influence design.
