Our client is seeking a commercially astute and relationship-driven Partnership & Account Manager to support the growth of travel insurance brands across a broad range of partners, including aggregators, affiliates, distributors, and other strategic third-party relationships.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management and development of key accounts, ensuring that partners feel supported, performance is optimised, and compliance standards are consistently met. You’ll play a pivotal role in nurturing existing relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring smooth collaboration between partners and our internal teams.

Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on relationship management and account ownership, while also contributing strategic insights to help shape the partner strategy.

Job Duties
  • Act as the primary point of contact for partners (aggregators, affiliates, distributors, and strategic accounts).
  • Manage the day-to-day partner relationship, handling queries, performance discussions, and compliance updates.
  • Oversee partner onboarding, ensuring contracts, SLAs, and operational requirements are fully understood and delivered.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships that drive retention, satisfaction, and commercial growth.
  • Facilitate communication between partners and internal teams (pricing, operations, claims, underwriting, marketing and compliance).
  • Monitor and report on partner performance, producing insightful MI for internal leadership and external partner reviews.
  • Track and analyse key commercial metrics such as revenue, retention, conversion, cancellations, and LTV.
  • Identify and deliver opportunities for growth and optimisation through joint initiatives, campaigns, or process improvements.
  • Support commercial negotiations and renewals with partners.
  • Keep up to date with competitor and market activity, feeding insights back into the company’s commercial strategy.
  • Maintain accurate records of partner engagement [TOBA], contractual changes, and agreed actions.
  • Ensure partner activity aligns with FCA Consumer Duty, fair value principles, and all regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with compliance head to ensure accuracy and consistency in partner communications and obligations.
  • Provide input into the wider partner and distribution strategy, drawing on market knowledge and partner insights.
  • Represent the company at external partner meetings, confidently presenting performance updates, risks, and opportunities.
  • Contribute ideas to enhance partner engagement, retention, and satisfaction.

  • Experience in account management, partnerships, or distribution within insurance, financial services, or another regulated sector (essential)
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and present performance data (essential)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident in engaging partners and influencing outcomes (essential)
  • Organised, proactive, and motivated, with strong attention to detail (essential)
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements relevant to insurance distribution (essential)
  • Experience working with price comparison websites (PCWs) and/or digital distribution partners (desirable)
  • Understanding of travel insurance products and distribution models (desirable)
  • Knowledge of FCA Consumer Duty and how it applies to partner and distribution relationships (desirable)
  • A confident relationship-builder, able to establish trust with external partners and internal stakeholders alike
  • Commercially minded, with a strong eye for performance, detail, and actionable insight
  • Comfortable managing multiple accounts and priorities at once
  • Excited by the opportunity to shape and strengthen key partnerships in the travel insurance industry
