Our client is a specialist Recruitment Consultancy who specialise in providing a high-quality recruitment services to the Legal sector. Based near Colchester, Essex they are passionate about being successful and building effective business relationships by providing a reliable service to their clients. They are looking for a like-minded individual to join their small but growing team as a Recruitment Consultant.

Job Duties

The role of a Recruitment Consultant with our client is to generate business revenue through the provision of a professional and ethical service in either finding suitable job opportunities for candidates or candidates for legal firms (largely the former, with our client’s market being predominantly candidate driven).

 

The role is to always promote the services of our client and to establish and maintain good business relationships with customers seeking to use recruitment services.  You will be coming into an established desk working predominantly on Lawyer and Partner opportunities.

 

In order to achieve this the following duties form the basis of the Recruitment Consultants job specification:

 

Duties (include but are not limited to):

  • Maintain regular contact with law firms to understand their recruitment requirements and sell relevant services.
  • Provide clients with full details of the recruitment service offered.
  • To manage recruitment exercises on behalf of clients to meet their expectations.
  • To recruit candidates through direct approach, advertising or any other means to meet client requirements.
  • To identify, through marketing procedures, suitable opportunities for candidates.
  • To adhere to the companies Candidate Charter.
  • To interview prospective candidates to ascertain their skills and suitability for vacancies.
  • To accurately record all communications on the recruitment software Digitec.

  • 4 years recruitment (ideally in Legal) preferred although not essential.
  • A hard-working, confident, professional individual with keen willingness to pick up phone.
  • A self-motivated and energetic individual who brings a positive outlook to the role.
  • The ability to multi-task, maintaining a high level of communication and accuracy.
  • Motivated by higher earning potential.
  • Consistently provides quantity but with significant quality.
  • An effective communicator who can identify and close opportunities.
  • Willingness to carry out routinely research task.
  • An excellent understanding of IT programmes/CRMs and the benefits of Social Media marketing.
