Our client specialises in the design and delivery of brand activations, experiential roadshows, and multi-location events. As part of a larger US-based organisation, the UK operation is a small, collaborative team with an exciting growth agenda. They are now looking to appoint a Sales Manager to take ownership of revenue generation, build key client relationships, and help drive the next phase of growth across the UK and Europe.

Job Duties

As the Sales Manager you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the growth and visibility of the company in the UK and Europe, helping to position them as a leader in their field.  You’ll serve as the sole owner of the company’s revenue generation plan, responsible for developing and executing sales initiatives from beginning to end; including lead generation, pipeline management and client acquisition.  This position requires a highly self-directed individual with an existing portfolio of relevant contacts, capable of balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution across all sales activities.

 

Duties (include but are not limited to):

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company revenue goals
  • Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, presentations, proposals, negotiation, and closing
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key clients and partners
  • Track pipeline activity and forecast revenue performance
  • Establish strategies in collaboration with the European Programme Director and Operations Manager
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
  • Design and manage lead generation initiatives (inbound and outbound)
  • Evaluate and optimise campaign effectiveness using data and analytics
  • Implement and manage CRM tools
  • Generate and report on key marketing KPIs (conversion rates, ROI, cost per lead)
  • Provide regular reporting to leadership on sales results, pipeline status, and marketing performance
  • Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities
  • Collaborate with leadership on growth initiatives and market expansion
  • Support at external events and launches where sales/marketing alignment is required
  • Work with the European Programme Director, Operations Manager and Production Manager to ensure alignment between client expectations and operational delivery
  • Be available to take on a full role within the wider team, supporting on activities and initiatives if required

Company Description
Applicant Specification
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
  • 3–7+ years of sales experience in a relevant sector
  • Demonstrated ability to manage full-cycle sales independently
  • Experience developing and executing strategies without agency reliance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Existing network of relevant contacts with strong client potential
  • Must have own transport and be able to travel as the role requires
  • Preferred
  • Experience in B2B services
  • Experience of delivering results within the scale-up phase of business growth
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, BambooHR integrations)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organisation
