Our client is a family run independent prestige car dealership. They are now on the lookout for a for a driven, well organised Front of House Manager to join their growing business.
 
If you have experience of managing a team in a fast-paced environment and an understanding of the motor trade then this is the role for you. 
 
As the Front of House Manager for our client’s esteemed car dealership, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the customer experience from the moment they step onto the premises until they drive off in their new vehicle. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that the showroom and reception areas are welcoming, organized, and efficiently managed to provide the highest level of service to clients.

Job Duties

 
Customer Experience Management:
 
·       Greet customers as they enter the dealership and ensure they feel welcomed and valued.
·       Coordinate with sales representatives to ensure prompt assistance for customers and provide support as needed.
·       Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
·       Ensure that all customer interactions reflect the dealership's brand values and commitment to excellence.
 
Showroom Maintenance and Presentation:
 
·       Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom at all times.
·       Monitor inventory levels of brochures, promotional materials, and other resources, ensuring they are adequately stocked and displayed.
·       Arrange vehicles in the showroom to optimize space and showcase key models effectively.
·       Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies for enhancing the showroom's visual appeal.
 
Reception and Appointment Management:
 
·       Manage the reception desk and ensure that all incoming calls and inquiries are handled efficiently and professionally.
·       Schedule appointments for test drives, service appointments, and other dealership services.
·       Coordinate with service and sales departments to ensure seamless scheduling and customer service processes.
 
Team Leadership and Training:
 
·       Supervise front desk staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
·       Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to ensure continuous improvement.
·       Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and excellence in customer service.
 
Administrative Duties:
 
·       Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, appointments, and inquiries using dealership CRM software.
·       Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on showroom traffic, customer feedback, and other relevant metrics.
·       Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management as needed.

Applicant Specification

·       Experience in managing a team in a fast paced environment.
·       Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
·       Leadership experience with the ability to motivate others.
·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
·       Knowledge of automotive industry practices and terminology is an advantage.
·       Must be aged over 23 due to insurance regulations.
·       Professional appearance and attitude.
