Our client is a friendly, forward-thinking Accountancy practice who were created from a merger of 3 local established practices in the Hadleigh, Ipswich & Felixstowe areas who joined forces in order to offer clients a professional & pro-active service, whilst being able to maintain the personal touch. Job Duties

The Role:
To work closely with the Tax Manager and Tax Partner to provide clients with compliance services (including HNW individuals and ex-pats))
 
Duties (include but are not limited to)
·        Prepare and review Self Assessment tax returns including capital gains computations and preparation of schedules of income from property
·        Liaise with clients to discuss outcomes of findings
·        Monitor tax return preparation and payment of tax progress
·        Draft tax planning advice (with support from management)
·        Work collaboratively with the team to provide technical support
·        Responsible for the management of own portfolio of clients
·        Build strong working relationships clients over the phone, via email and occasionally face to face meetings
·        Identify opportunities for cross-selling other services
·        Occasionally represent the practice at networking events
·        Liaise with and support work colleagues as required
·        Carry out general administration tasks
·        Identify and meet personal job-related training and development as required
·        Provide assistance in terms of general and specific support to Partners and Managers as required
·        Undertake appropriate training to ensure CPD criteria are met

Applicant Specification

·        18 months’ plus working as a Tax Advisor strongly preferred
·        ATT qualification preferred but not essential
·        Previous experience working with ex-pats preferred but not essential
·        A strong client advocate, determined to achieve great client outcomes
·        A problem solver with a resourceful, collaborative and analytical approach
·        A personable, collaborative team player
