7 ways to prevent work burn out
Everything at work is going great. You’re moving quickly, saying yes to everything, taking on all projects and it seems like nothing can stop you. However, after time when tasks build up, you can break into a slump. But there are simple practises you can out into place immediately to prevent burn out becoming a regular occurrence.
Take control:
You can avoid or overcome burnout by finding ways to create autonomy in your role. set your own realistic deadlines and take control of your tasks and projects. You’ll feel more in control, especially if you manage your time effectively and learn to prioritise well. Set long goals but realistic ones, then you can look back in a week or a months’ time to see how far you have come.

Even the smallest act of kindness can re-energize you and help you find meaning in your work. This can be something as simple as making a cup of tea for your colleagues or taking away some duties that are getting on top of someone.
Live with mindfulness:
Ongoingly focusing on mindfulness rather than only on breaks or holidays. Find ways to detach during the week in a way that works for you. Read a book, exercise, baking whatever it may be find what works for you and be mindful in those moments try to take these consistent ‘mini breaks’ throughout the week and you will see a difference.
